Remembering "Rosie"

Rosie was a much loved CP girl. Here is a tribute from her furever family posted on their blogspot.

Kelly wrote: Thanks so much for bringing her into my life. And please let the others know that our Rosie Posie was a happy girl up to the end.

I don't have a new painting to post today. We have had a sad day as we lost our little Rosie to acute kidney failure. Rosie was a beautiful wheaten cairn terrier that came to live with us after suffering in a puppy mill for over 7 years. She was very timid and not at all sure about the humans around her but after much patience she came out of her shell and returned every bit of the love we gave her many times over. Since we are not sure of her birthday, we think that she was about 11 1/2 or 12 when she died today. We will miss her terribly but are so thankful that she came to be a part of our family.
See some very personal paintings of Rosie that her Mom has done over the past several years of their little Eleanor Roosevelt "Rosie" Walker http://www.doubledogdesigns.blogspot.com/
