Blondie is now officially the "QUEEN of the house". She is just so precious. We are working on our manners with company; as Blondie loves everyone soooo much that she wants to be near them at all times. Plus, the couch was bought for her, wasn't it? And how dare company sit in 'her' spot. She has adjusted quite well and is now at the point where mom has to carry her upstairs to bed, because she would rather sleep on the couch or just be a stubborn cairn and not come when called.
She just got a beautiful new collar and leash with butterflies from the boutique dog store near mom's work. (although, she will always wear the harness). Her favorite spring activity was going to watch mom's friends play softball; all the guys and gals just fawned all over her and made her feel extra special. Even brother Piper had a good time at the softball games.
Blondie LOVES Petite Pooch and her and brother Pi go once or twice a week. Neena, the manager just LOVES Blondie and squeels whenever she arrives. Petite Pooch was just written up on the Dallas internet web base known as City Guide and Blondie and Brother Pi were in the video!
On Memorial Day, Blondie, Brother Pi and Mom went to a pool party. The people had a really big back yard and Blondie and Brother Pi ran and ran and ran. Then Blondie waded onto the top step of the pool to see mom! She isn't afraid of anything.
Mom bought Blondie Nature's Variety canned food from the Yap too. Blondie especially loves the rabbit canned food. Blondie loves her morning walks, but as her and Brother Pi have different stamina levels, mom ends up carrying her (every time) for the last 3 blocks.
All is very well in Blondie's world, I believe.
