Luck was on my side and today was the coldest fall day so far in Connecticut and Bodie was not fond of the weather. When I came home from work, he was sitting in his crate and refused to get out. Bodie never willingly goes to his crate and certainly never wants to stay there. His fur brother Shaq has been pretty smart and pulls his bed out of the crate every morning. Very intuitive dog, but Bodie, he's pretty stubborn and not much of a follower.
Anyway, when he wouldn't come out, I came to the conclusion it was because it was too cold. I got his new sweater and put it on him. After that he was fine. How strange such a young pup can act like such a crabby old man?
My friend came over and put a hat on Bodie, and well, a new costume was born. Bodie looked like the cutest little Oliver Twist look-a-like (I prefer Dodger personally). He didn't look too sad with it on, he thought it was more of a game because all he wanted to do was bite the hat. Well with patience we got the little nibbler to hold still for a picture. It's a camera phone picture so it's not perfect, but it was the best we could get.
