Hi everyone,
I've attached pictures of Phineas Phog and his new mom Marion. Phin went to his forever home this week - lucky for us, just down the street. Phin was with us for just over a couple of months, and is a lovely little boy - great energy, loves his walks, and overcame a huge uphill battle with his teeth when we got him. Thanks to Col. Potter and our local vet that donated all but a small amount of her costs, Phin had 3 dental procedures while he was with us to finish cleaning and pulling rotten and dead teeth. When we got him his breath smelled like putrid, rotten meat, and in hindsight he was probably suffering from a systemic infection as well as an infection in his mouth. What a difference in his personality once he was feeling better! Thank goodness for modern medicine and the wonders of antibiotics and anesthesia :)
Fostering was a great experience for us and we appreciate being able to have Phin for the period we had him.
