Truman: In His Furever Home One Year

One year ago today we traveled home from AR with Truman, leaving his wonderful, caring foster mom and dad, Lori and Mike R. When we left Chicago on Jan. 9, we traveled away from a snowstorm that had begun. We returned to 10" of snow. We were sure the little guy wondered why he left AR!! We have had a foot of snow in the last few days with frigid temps, as many of you have been writing recently. Truman still does not like the cold and snow and often camps on his orange blanket in front of the fireplace. We think he and his sister Betsy, also fostered by the Rothmeier's, are pretty special. Their moms, Connie and Lexi, live in FL with Linda.

Truman Celebrates His First Birthday

Here is a picture of Truman who turned 1 Yr. old today!! He enjoyed his birthday by going to Puppy Obedience where he received a nice gift from his instructor and got to meet Nancy Buckley, also part of the CRM network!! He is one tired guy.
The wonderful, nurturing Lori and Mike R were Foster Parents to both Betsy and Truman (different litters).

Hymn is now Truman

Our sweet little Peanut(Hymn) (Contralto's pup) has left for his forever home in IL with his mom and dad. They are also the parents of our foster Betsy (of Lexington's pups), so Hymn will have a sister to play with. Hymn's new name with be Truman, which I think will fit him perfectly! The house sure seems empty, if that is possible with 7 dogs here...LOL Lori and Mike Rogers, AR
