She adopted me Jan. 2009, Kayla La La is a very happy little girl and a joy to be around! hard to believe she was a mill girl, happy and full of life, energy and always a smile! She has a cairn sister named Sadie Jo, they ZOOM and play all day, that's their job and they do it well! LOL

Celebrating Kayla's Gotcha Day Anniversary

WOW...it's hard to beleive we were in IL on this day one year ago, picking up our sweet little Kayla fka Mancala from the Santa's gift's group.
Kayla has been a dream to be owned by - she gibs me lubbing, and such sweet care, shares her house with us, and gibs us good food !!! WE are so lucky.
She shares her special day with my Molly (RB 3-21-08) - today was also Molly's B-day. AND she allows us to sleep on the bed !!! Golly gee what a good girl :)
We are so very happy with her and lucky, she has adjusted to our life so perfect, Her sister Sadie and Kayla get along like they'd been together all their life.
Thank you Colonel Potter and all involved with the rescue of Kayla.

did u knew we habs BURTHDAY'S ? not sure watt dat iz, but i habing a fun filled day ! started dis mornin when mama says "HAPPY BIRTHDAY KAYLA" deze hoomans are a wittle strange, but I feel good todey. I must be spechial! we habin carrot cupcakes a latr todey, WOW
me famibly not sure when me real birth day was, so one yere ago today I was rescued from hell by CPCRN (I lubs you CP) and so my mom says it's a spechial day and it will be my SPECHIAL day. so all I gotz to say is "IT'S MY SPECHIAL BIRFDAY TODAY" YEEEEE HAWWWWW... LET DA PARTI BEGIN !

Look Who Came Down the Chimney!!

Sadie and Kayla did not leave poor Santa alone at first. They pulled on him! He is animated, sings and sways. It's a simple little fire place, hand made, but I LOVE it :) It was made just for Christmas, But I'm thinking... just leaving it there. AHHHHH...the simple things in life.
