Goldie (aka Ella) has asked us to send out holiday greetings to all of her friends at Colonel Potter. She is learning to love snow and these cold New England winters as well as all the comforts of home. Ella spends her days taking naps in a cozy chair and playing with her new family members. She has a mischevious streak and likes to dart out from under furniture and nibble on the feet or pants of her adoptive parents. She is very inquisitive and is often found poking her nose into things- the clean laundry, closets, gifts and other things that capture her attention. At night she can be found rolled up in a tight ball in her dog basket next to mom's side of the bed. Every morning Ella gets up at 5:30 with mom to make coffee and have breakfast before the start of the day. Overall she is very cute and is getting used to lots of cuddling and attention. She is starting to come out of her shell and has made herself the watch dog in the house, making a complete racket when she hears anyone outside. We love her! Happy New Year to you all. The Vs
